Victoria

Pride Society

We would like to extend our immense gratitude to each and every one of our partners, past and present.

This year, we unveiled a new partnership structure, one which considers each applicant’s social impact to bring about diversity, equity and inclusion and developing programs that support 2SLGBTQIA+ and intersecting communities. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. If you are interested in learning more about our partnership program, please email partners@victoriapridesociety.org.

Thank you to our Victoria Pride 2022 partners who have made the festival possible and a special acknowledgement to our Legacy Partners , the ones who have been on this journey with the Victoria Pride Society from our humble beginnings and have supported us through all these years.

Flowers have been used as symbols, part of the secret language within the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, for centuries. In times when being “out” was not an option, these symbols helped us to identify each other.

Lavender Community Partners

Our valued community partners who make Pride happen. These partners step up in ways that underline what true partnership is all about!

Rainbow Revolutionaries

Our most impactful partners. The tie-dye roses were first embraced by the love and peace movement, and later became a symbol of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The tie-dye rose also inspired the rainbow flag by Gilbert Baker.

The Rose

Often used in 2SLGBTQIA+ art, the rose represents diversity, beauty and love. It is sometimes used to symbolize the Trans community.
