TDOR – Candlelight Vigil

For the fifth year at Bastion Square, we continue the tradition started earlier of a public reading of the list of those who lost their lives as a result of gender identity in the past year.

Our location in Bastion Square is different this year. We are moving between the courthouse and the parkade to the Grove of Souls Courtyard.

We have also moved from Wharf Street to the Victoria Native Friendship Centre, so the hot chocolate and cookies will be right on site in tents in the Grove.

Volunteers are always needed, so please show up early and help get things set up.

Please consider making yourself available to improve accessibility for those who need it, such as pairing with people who need assistance by providing spoken and written descriptions of what is happening.
