Victoria Pride Week Festival Youth Kick-Off Party

The Youth Pride Kick-Off Party returns for a fun-filled virtual event!

Kick off the Victoria Pride Week Festival with a night of inspirational speakers and dazzling performances in an online Zoom event hosted by the Victoria Pride Society Youth Leadership Council. While geared for those 15 to 24 years old, the party is open to all ages and will also include opportunities to play online interactive games like One Night Ultimate Werewolves and Among Us.

Organisé par le VPS Youth Leadership Council, cet évènement virtuel s’orientant aux jeunes de 15 à 24 ans est ouvert à tous. Vous pourrez également jouer à des jeux interactifs en ligne tels Jackbox, Werewolves et Among Us.

Pre-recorded performances and art will be posted to the Victoria Pride Society Youth Council Instagram.

The Zoom meeting ID and password will be posted on the youth council’s Instagram and Facebook . The event will host different breakout rooms for the various games planned.

ABOUT THE VICTORIA PRIDE WEEK FESTIVAL YOUTH KICK-OFF PARTY

The Youth Pride Kick-Off Party is a chance for local LGBTQIA2S+ youth to come together in a safe and inclusive environment. The party always includes a variety of activities, performances and chances to connect with other local LGBTQIA2S+ youth.

The Youth Pride Kick-Off Party is presented as part of the Victoria Pride Week Festival.

ABOUT THE VICTORIA PRIDE WEEK FESTIVAL

Presented by the Victoria Pride Society, the Victoria Pride Week Festival provides opportunities for local LGBTQIA2S+ communities to be visible, to celebrate, to advocate and to feel connected to community.

From June 28 to July 4, the 2021 Victoria Pride Week Festival will include a variety of online events to showcase and safely connect our amazing local LGBTQIA2S+ communities while highlighting the work that still needs to be done to overcome racism, transphobia, homophobia and all other forms of discrimination.

The Victoria Pride Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is a group for 14-24 year-olds that meets monthly to plan youth initiatives and events that relate to the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
