Dragball: Then & Now

Dragball: Then & Now

July 1, 2020

When the Victoria Pride Society had the idea to create a documentary, sharing some history and a virtual dragball game, it was done just in time for July 1st – in under 3 weeks. This was accomplished through the quick and enthusiastic response of our community, dragball alumni and current drag stars, who either sent in their video stories, their photos, or came out to play a small but hilarious game of ball. We are so grateful for our community.

We also want to take a moment to thank our ongoing dragball partners who help make the game what it is every year: Shelley, who donates the sound equipment so we can best hear to David and Tash ripping on the drag queens and kings, and the Eves of Destruction derby league, selling food and recycling.
