LGBTQ+ Online Game Tournament

Build community while battling in this free LGBTQ+ Online Game Tournament! Compete in Among Us, JackBoxTV, and/or One Night Ultimate Werewolf for 6 chances to win 25$! This tournament will bring together LGBTQ+ folks in a time of disconnection on February 26th from 6pm to 9pm. It will be held through Discord and is hosted by the Victoria Pride Society Youth Leadership.

This free tournament is directed to connect and engage LGBTQ+ people with their community. This Online Game Tournament will take place on February 26, and the times may be subject to change. It will be held through 3 categories: Among Us(6pm), JackBox TV (7pm), and One Night Ultimate Werewolf (8pm).

The top two players of each game will receive $25. The winner of each category will be determined by who has the most points at the end of multiple rounds or by who wins the most rounds, depending on the game. The groups will be determined by the number of participants and each player’s game preference. The games are all free to play.

Description of the games:

Among Us

Join your crewmates in a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal! Play online or over local WiFi with 4-10 players as you attempt to prep your spaceship for departure, but beware as one will be an impostor bent on killing everyone! Crewmates can win by completing all tasks or discovering and voting the impostor off the ship. The Impostor can use sabotage to cause chaos, making for easier kills and better alibis.

JackBox TV

One Night Ultimate Werewolf

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a fast game for 3-10 players in which everyone gets a role: One of the dastardly Werewolves, the tricky Troublemaker, the helpful Seer, or one of a dozen different characters, each with a special ability. In the course of a single morning, your village will decide who is a werewolf…because all it takes is lynching one werewolf to win!

To access Among Us, it must be downloaded. It is free if downloaded on a phone.

We will release a general list of guidelines that outline appropriate behaviour. Violating these guidelines will result in consequences based on the severity of the violation. There will be a zero-tolerance policy for hate.

The Discord link will be provided in the order confirmation email under ‘Additional Information’, once a ticket has been claimed. This is where we will host the games.
