Hello all Lake Side Buoys members and fans of Pacific FC and the Victoria Highlanders!
Our Campaign is aiming to provide funds for the Victoria Pride Society and the Rainbow Health Collective. The global pandemic has been hard hitting to many communities, including the LGBTQ2+ community. Please help us raise funds for these great local organizations!
Since our season plans aren’t quite clear, we encourage people to incorporate any WCQ or Gold Cup games to this campaign. Heck, if you’re feeling generous, maybe incorporate any team you might cheer for in the MLS, NWSL or elsewhere. You can pledge whatever you like during this campaign, but why not make it interesting. Perhaps $1 per goal scored or $5 per win. Let’s show our support; it’s what we do.
Our campaign runs from early June until the end of the August long weekend, in order to tie-in with the Pride events for our Lower Mainland fans.
